Yeki is your dedicated residence head, bringing a deep passion for student leadership and development. With years of experience guiding students to find their voice and navigate university life, his career has been firmly committed to student growth and empowerment.

Yeki has worked extensively in student governance, leadership development, and program management. He joined Stellenbosch University in 2015, after serving as:

• Senior Officer for Student Governance at the University of the Free State

• Residence Head at Legatum, where he helped foster welcoming, supportive student communities

His experience extends beyond the university setting. Yeki has served as:

• Senior Manager for Community Development and Stakeholder Relations at Stellenbosch Municipality

• Research Fellow at the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation

• A consultant in transformation and change management, ensuring students feel seen, valued, and empowered as agents of positive change

Originally from Kayamandi, Stellenbosch, Yeki is deeply rooted in the local community. Together with his wife, Makgotso Mosomothane, they are the proud parents of three children: Zion, Khomotso, and Khothatso.
